Miami-Dade police dog \u2018Ares\u2019 dies <\/p>\n

A Miami-Dade Police Department dog named Ares died on Wednesday after a veterinary procedure, police said. The German Shorthaired Pointer completed the Transportation Security Administration\u2019s national explosives detection canine program and joined the department on Feb. 22, 2013. \u201cWe will never forget his honor and service,\u201d Police Director Alfredo \u201cFreddy\u201d Ramirez III wrote on Twitter.
