West Allis Police Department mourns the death of K9 Diesel<\/p>\n
It is with great sadness that the West Allis Police Department announces the passing of retired K-9 Diesel. Corporal Ryan McNally and K-9 Diesel were partnered together since 2009. They worked their last shift together on the evening of September 23rd, 2017. K-9 Diesel had an extremely impressive and successful career. Throughout his career, K-9 Diesel located many types of narcotics, assisted in locating 176 suspects, and recovered 37 articles of evidence. Cpl. McNally and K-9 Diesel were recognized locally and statewide for their achievements throughout their career to include:

\n2011 \u2013 WLECHA – Meritorious K9 Track with Apprehension
\n2014 \u2013 WLECHA – K9 Team of the Year
