K9 Buddy was a member of the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Department. K9 Buddy was the first K9 assigned to the Correctional Facility. He was trained in searching as well as contraband detection. K9 Buddy served alongside his friend and handler Officer Adam Potter for only a short time before being diagnosed with a brain tumor over a year ago.
