K9 Nero was born in Europe on November 1, 2008. He began his career with Coweta County Sheriff\u2019s Office in February 2010. For the next seven plus years he was a loyal and faithful Drug and Tracking Canine. He was always right beside K9 handler Brandon Thrower\u2019s side, never complaining about the hard work they would do together. K9 Nero retired September 1, 2017, and lived out his golden years with his crime fighting partner, and friend, Officer Brandon Thrower.
