The Edmonson County Sheriffs Office is devastated to announce the loss of our amazing K-9 deputy, Tango. Our beloved drug-sniffing, fun-loving four-legged partner succumbed to an aggressive kidney disease and was put to rest June 16th. Please remember his partner and handler, Deputy Jordan Jones, in prayer for comfort. Tango wasn\u2019t just a dog… he was a brother to us and he will be missed beyond belief. During his career he has provided armed K-9 strike crowd control for security agencies in Connecticut and out of state security companies. Board of Directors, he helped to draft Connecticut Statute 53-247(e) \\\"Intentional Injury or Killing of Police K-9\\\" which was passed by the Senate in 1993 and also assisted in implementing the prestigious Daniel Wasson Memorial K-9 Award in 1992.
