\nHandler – Sergeant Dave Campbell<\/p>\n
CPWDA is sad to announce the passing of Sergeant Dave Campbell\u2019s retired K9 partner Scout with the Orange County Sheriff\u2019s Office in New York. Both joined the CPWDA on 1\/12\/12 and were members for two years. K9 Scout was certified in Patrol & Explosives. Sergeant David Campbell retired on 1\/26\/18 after serving 20 years of service with the Sheriff\u2019s Office, including the last 16 with the K-9 unit. Sergeant Campbell ran the K-9 Unit and was a two-time handler. He worked with his first K-9, Max, for 12 years and K9 Scout for 10 years. K9 Scout retired on 1\/26\/18 along with his handler. K9 Scout died on 12\/13\/18 and was 10 years old at the time of his death. Our condolences and prayers go out to the Campbell family during this difficult time.
