Retired Service K9 ‘Rhoden’ dies; served for eight years<\/p>\n

Reno Police Service K9 “Rhoden” died on Thursday, the department announced in a news release. He was purchased from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in 2006, and worked as a Reno Police K9 until his retirement in 2014. While partnered with officer Ben Lancaster, Rhoden was instrumental in the apprehension of multiple violent offenders in the community, RPD said.
