Retired K9 Primo Passes<\/p>\n

CPWDA is sad to announce the passing of retired K9 Primo who passed away on 11\/27\/17 and was handled by Officer Todd Mona of the East Hartford Police Department. K9 Primo retired from service on 6\/12\/15. Officer Todd Mona and K9 Primo were the Winners of the prestigious Daniel Wasson Memorial K9 Award in 2007 & 2009 and were 1st Runner Up of the award in 2012. Officer Mona and K9 Primo joined the CPWDA on 9\/8\/07 and were members until he retired. Officer Mona is presently a CPWDA Lifetime Member with his new K9. Our thoughts and prayers are with Officer Mona and his family during this difficult time. We thank you Primo for your years of service to the community, R.I.P.
