El Paso County Sheriff’s Office mourns retired K9’s death<\/p>\n

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office reported the death of retired K9 deputy Cheko Tuesday. Cheko joined the department in 2007 and served with Deputy Narkoli and Deputy Yarbrough until he retired in 2012. “We are sad to report the passing of retired EPSO K9 Cheko,” The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office posted on its Facebook page. “K9 Cheko continued his service to our community until his retirement in May 2012.
