California Highway Patrol K9 Rex passed on 12\/19\/16. Rex was 13.5 years old. He was imported from Holland and was a KNPV Champion. Rex started his career in Redding and was re-teamed a short while later to Inland Division (San Bernardino) with Officer Mike Blaine. Mike and Rex were one of the hardest working and most successful K9 teams in the CHP\u2019s history.
