Storm Lake police bid farewell to K-9 following cancerous tumor diagnosis<\/p>\n
The Storm Lake Police Department recently had to bid farewell to their trusted K-9.According to a release from the Storm Lake Police Department, their K-9 Ozzy was recently euthanized after being diagnosed with cancerous tumors. The decision to humanely euthanize Ozzy came after consultation with veterinary medical experts.Ozzy served the Storm Lake Community since March 2019 and was partnered with Officer Mitchell Fritz.The police department is currently seeking donations to help with the purchase and training of a new K-9 unit.
