Cleveland County Sheriff\u2019s Office announces death of K-9<\/p>\n
The Cleveland County Sheriff\u2019s Office on Thursday announced the death of their K-9, Dolar.Officials said Dolar died \u201cunexpectedly today while at a training session,\u201d according to a news release. They said the dog served the community \u201cwith dedication and distinction\u201d and that Dolar was assigned to the Cleveland County Detention Center to detect narcotics.Officials said an investigation is underway into the dog\u2019s death and that more information would be released once available.Dolar, a Labrador retriever, joined the sheriff\u2019s office in 2020.\u201cWe are devastated by the loss of K-9 Dolar,\u201d said Cleveland County Sheriff Chris Amason. \u201cNot only was he a remarkable working dog, but he was also a beloved member of our family.
