The Chandler police community has heavy hearts after they said goodbye to one of their own retired police dogs.K-9 Bako died on Tuesday, police said, but didn\u2019t say how. He spent 10 years with the department, working as a patrol dog but also detecting bombs. Bako helped protect the lives of his handlers, retired Sgt. Mike Armentrout and retired Officer Ron Emary.
