The Mingo County Sheriff\u2019s office spoke on social media on July 9 about the sudden passing of the K9 officer Bravo. In a statement by the Sheriff\u2019s office it stated, \u201cIt is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of K9 Bravo, a courageous and loyal partner who served with unwavering dedication. K9 Bravo passed away unexpectedly on July 8, 2024.\u201cBravo began his journey with the Mingo County Sheriff\u2019s Department on August 5, 2018, quickly becoming an invaluable member of the team.
\nHis keen senses and exceptional training helped in countless operations, making our community a safer place. Bravo\u2019s bravery and commitment were evident in every task he undertook. \u201cBeyond his professional accomplishments, Bravo was a beloved companion to his handler, Deputy B.T. Sipple and a cherished member of the MCSD family. His playful spirit and loving nature left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him.\u201cK9 Bravo\u2019s legacy will continue to inspire us, and his absence will be deeply felt.
