End of Watch for Retired K-9 Sam<\/p>\n
It is with heavy hearts we report of the passing of retired K-9 Sam. Sam was a 13.5 year old Belgian Malinous that served the citizens of Henry County for approximately 5.5 years. Sam was used by HCPD for patrol and to detect dangerous drugs in the community before his retirement in 2019.K-9 Sam passed peacefully in the arms of his Handler P. Dillard. Thank you for your service and rest easy. The current K-9’s have the watch from here.<\/p>\n
