SALEM PD MOURNS LOSS OF RETIRED K-9<\/p>\n
The Salem Police Department is saddened to announce the passing of retired K-9 Freddy.K-9 Freddy served the City of Salem and the surrounding area for nearly 7 years from 2015-2022.Salem PD says in an online post that throughout his career K-9 Freddy was an invaluable member of the city\u2019s police department and was deployed hundreds if not thousands of times for everything from person tracks, narcotics, and area searches, to apprehensions.They praised Freddy for always serving with loyalty and courage.
