Brooksville Police Department remembers K-9 Titan<\/p>\n

Brooksville police are remembering a K-9 who served the department for more than four years. Titan, a German Shephard, conducted hundreds of searches leading to arrests for crack cocaine, marijuana, and methamphetamine. Titan’s handler Officer Chris Stockton says he was shocked to discover an aggressive cancer took Titan in a matter of days. Stockton says in his last moments Titan still would not let go of his precious ball. Officer Stockton says although he is extremely sad about Titan’s passing he is at peace knowing Titan is no longer suffering.

\n31 narcotics arrests
\n316 searches
\n700 grams of marijuana
\n15 grams of crack cocaine, and

He was appointed Training Director for the New London County Work Dog Association from 1985-1987.
