North Strabane Township police mourning loss of K-9 officer Drago<\/p>\n
It is with great sorrow that the North Strabane Township Police Department must report the passing of K-9 Drago. Drago was an integral part of the department\u2019s family and the North Strabane Township Community. In 2018, Drago was diagnosed with Canine Scott Syndrome. Scott Syndrome is a very rare disorder that impairs the canine\u2019s ability to control bleeding. On the 30th of September 2022, Drago was transported to the Pittsburgh Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Care Hospital in North Hills PA for an uncontrollable nose bleed.
