End of watch announced after death of Morgantown, West Virginia, Police K-9 from spinal disorder <\/p>\n
“It is with deep sadness that the Morgantown Police Department announces the end of watch for K-9 Hunter on this date,” the department announced in a news release. K-9 Hunter was certified at Shallow Creek Kennels and was partnered with MPO D. Helms. During their partnership, the team was an asset to the department and citizens of Morgantown, conducting numerous narcotics searches and performing several tracks throughout the years, according to the release. The department also thanked veterinarians Drs. George Seiler and Melinda Thomas-Dietrich; the Paw Prints Veterinary Clinic staff; and High Meadow Pet Crematory for their treatment, support and services.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
