Braintree police K-9 Lucky, almost 14, dies<\/p>\n
Lucky was a yellow English Labrador retriever adopted by the police. He was assigned to Officer Richard Seibert. Lucky went on duty in 2010. “He was one of the most prolific drug dogs we have encountered, one of the best in Massachusetts,” Cohoon said. He played a significant role in seizing millions of dollars in illegal narcotics and money. Lucky loved boating with Seibert’s family. He was a friend of K-9 Kitt, who was killed last year.
