Handler – Officer Dave Buck<\/p>\n

The Connecticut Police Work Dog Association (CPWDA) is sad to announce the passing of retired K9 Anouke who was partnered with Officer Dave Buck with the Meriden Police Department. Officer Buck made the agonizing decision that no pet owner wants to make and made the courageous decision to allow Anouke to pass with dignity and honor. K9 Anouke was euthanized today at the age of 14 years old. Officer Buck and K9 Anouke joined the CPWDA on 3\/3\/10 until her retirement on 5\/16\/19. Anouke served the community with distinction for 9 years and was an integral member of the K-9 Unit.\u00a0K9 Anouke was certified in Patrol and Narcotics. Officer Buck served on the C.P.W.D.A. Board of Directors from 2015 \u2013 2020 as Secretary and is now working with his new K9 Partner Aslan and are Lifetime Members since 1\/7\/20 and certified in Patrol and Narcotics. CPWDA sends our thoughts and prayers to The Buck family, the entire Meriden Police Department & friends during this difficult time. K9 Anouke we thank you for your service.
