New Castle County announces death of police K9<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

New Castle County Police said one of their active K9 units has died of natural causes. According to police, K9 Prezzi joined the county police force in May of 2017 and was teamed with Master Corporal Richard Blackston. The dog was a 6-year-old Belgian Malinois and German Shepard mix. <\/span>Police say during his career, Prezzi seized over $300,000 in suspected drug money while also assisting in the recovery of drugs and firearms, along with several suspect apprehensions.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
