Rita started her career with the United States Army as a Military Police Bomb K-9 at the United States Embassy in Africa where she was born and then Qatar she then was sent to Iraq and Rita was station in Iraq and Afghanistan. In Afghanistan she was injured\u00a0by IED and sustained injuries with her handler who was retired\u00a0After Rita went to the hospital and healed up she continued duty for two more years, until she came down with Pannus in her eyes and was retired and adopted at the age of seven.\u00a0MWD Rita crossed over Rainbow Bridge at 1700 hrs\u00a0 on 10\/11\/21.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
