Born on March 3, 2009, the Labrador retriever was under the guardianship and training of head constable B Shasidhar. Rani was trained at the Integrated Intelligence Training Academy in Hyderabad. An expert in various security aspects, Rani was in the news for helping secure locations ahead of visits of dignitaries. Rani\u2019s core strength was the ability to detect explosives in public places, a skill that significantly served the Srikakulam police while making security arrangements for VVIP visits.
