The Connecticut Police Work Dog Association is sad to announce the passing of retired K9 Lambeau on 2\/12\/21. Officer Kempke made the difficult decision to have him euthanized to relieve his suffering. K9 Lambeau was born in the Netherlands in December of 2007 and came to the United States in February of 2008 to served with the Ledyard Police Department with his handler, Officer Bobby Kempke. K9 Lambeau was certified in Patrol & Narcotics and Joined the Connecticut Police Work Dog Association on 3\/4\/08 and became Lifetime Members of the C.P.W.D.A on 5\/30\/09 until his passing. Lambeau retired in 2016 and was 13 years old when he passed. We thank you K9 Lambeau for your service to the Ledyard Police Department and the citizens of Ledyard Connecticut.
