Died – 6/15/15 Police K9 dies from snake bite K9 Chewbacca died after being bit by a venomous snake while he and his handler were on patrol. His handler immediately transported him for treatment at a local vet but he was unable to recover.

Died – 6/10/15 K9 “Rocky” was a dual purpose narcotics/patrol dog who served the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Department. K9 Rocky passed away on June 10th 2015
