The Chatham County Sheriff’s Office pay their respects to K-9 Mac
He was recently diagnosed with Lymphoma cancer. The department held a processional for deputies to say their farewells. He has served our county and nation with honor, according to the department. Before becoming a Deputy with the Chatham County Sheriff’s Office/Chatham County Sheriff’s K-9 Unit, K9 Mac served our country in the military. Please join us in recognizing CCSO K9 Mac for his honorable service in the U.S. Army an MPC multi-purpose canine for the 3rd Battalion 75th Ranger Regiment on multiple deployments to Afghanistan. MPC Mac served our nation with distinction and honor. He will be greatly missed by the Ranges he served alongside.
