Handler – Officer John McGinley
Today, it is with great sadness we announce the passing of K9 Buster. For those that have known us since the beginning, Buster was one of our first K9’s vested. His Handler, John McGinley, is one of our founding members and our former President. John and K9 Buster helped shape our orginization to what it has become today. Buster retired from The City of Trenton where he spent his career proudly protecting the community, helping to keep guns, drugs and criminals off the streets. Its true what they say, the K9 chooses us not the other way around. John and Buster were not only made an amazing team but they were a match made in heaven. Together the duo accomplished the unbelievable, helped create an orginization that has continued to protect Police K9’s in need across our nation. Buster was more than John’s partner, he was our family and that goes the same for the McGinley Family. It never easy mourning the loss of a family member, especially one that leaves endless memories behind. Our deepest condolences go to the McGinley Family during this tragic loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
