REQUIREMENTS OF EPA:
ALL SCATTERING of cremains required by everyone!
3 miles minimum out to sea
plus other required information in letter sent to EPA in NYC
including: date, longitude/latitude, or GPS readings,
depth of water, tide, port of boat dockage, name of deceased, etc.
The law states that ANYONE who scatters ashes in waterways, MUST report this data to:

Price of service subject to changes with cost of marine fuel-
prices have risen since article was published by the PRESS due to
increase cost of marine fuel.
Prices may be more if trip is further out to sea or
up NJ coast due to miles from CAPE MAY Inlet.
Cards with photo: $60.00 per hundred
Laminated cards with photo: $1.25 each
Plain cards with poem/prayer with scene or saint on opposite side

MISCELLANEOUS:
Cremains can be sent to our office by U.S. Mail only,
with return receipt, so you know they arrived..
UPS or FED-EX will no longer ship cremains.

Please mail sealed durable sift proof container by regular first class mail require return signature receipt. We will sign for package. Family &/or friends do not attend this service on the boat. To keep costs down, this is done at the convenience of the funeral director. We will store cremains during winter months and scatter during the months of May through October, when the seas and weather permit. A laminated certificate is mailed to the family. A copy of certificate and letter to EPA will be sent to your funeral director, upon request.
